An important and thoroughly illustrated history of the medical care in Egypt. With particular emphasis on the period under Viceroy Mohamed Aly Pasha, the medical school at Kasr El Ainy and of course the period under British occupation. xiii, 121 pp with 67 photographic plates. With a folding architects' drawing of the new Kasr al Ainy hospital at rear. A strongly bound copy in the original publisher's green cloth, titled, with device to cover and spine. With scattered loss of tint to the cover apparently caused by water soiling. Internal with writing in the Arabic language to front and rear endpapers. Light foxing to a few pages also a few underlinings and folding marks otherwise fine.
